Day #248 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
April 5th, 2009I hate to sound like a broken record, but it is another picture perfect day here today. Ted arrived late last night, well actually this morning right on time. We’re glad to have him here. We haven’t all been together since Key West on New Year’s.
We walked around the marina this morning and here was one site we had to share.

Now, if that is not every man’s dream of the perfect golf cart and his grill was even on heavy duty wheels. Note the radar and dish on top of the cart.
Then the guys checked out all of the boats with the discerning eyes. Note the size of the rubber plant they are standing under.

After that we walked over to the Waterway Cafe for lunch, so named as it sits right on the ICW. Note to self, don’t travel the ICW in this area on the weekends. It was like a freeway with the amount of boat traffic, but fun to watch.

We have seen signs like this in Key West and the Abacos. This is the Palm Beach version.

After lunch Ted just had one errand he had to run before returning to the boat.

Andy has always been a good “wing man” for Ted since junior high. Their friendship goes a long way back! Now we anxiously await John and Karen’s arrival about 10:00 tonight if all goes as planned.
