Day #188 - West End, Grand Bahama
February 4th, 2009Not much to write about today as it has been very quiet. The night was rocking and rolling as the winds picked up to about 30 mph and stayed that way most of the night. Got down in the 50s and has been windy all day with the high in the mid 60s. The winds are supposed to pick up tonight and stay that way for several more days. It is bight and sunny though!

A Wahoo Fishing Tournament starts here at Old Bahama Bay Resort tomorrow http://www.oldbahamabay.com/bahamas-wahoo-fishing-championship-tournament.aspx. Some crazy fishing boats pulled in yesterday and today and they said the waves coming from Florida were 10-12 feet at times. We thought they might postpone the tournament because of the winds but they said they are used to it. This is the wahoo season and it is often windy like this.
We have been invited over to Salvage Crew tonight for dinner. Should be fun and gives us something to look forward to. Looks like we may be here several more days. Poor us!
