Day #126 - Ft. Myers, FL
December 4th, 2008
Left Cape Coral this morning after going out to breakfast with Vickie and Paul. Great meal and then back to the boat to get ready to depart. Hard to say good bye to them as we are not sure when we will see them again and really enjoyed their company. Their hospitality was outstanding and truly appreciated. Nice touch that they delivered the newspaper to the boat each day as well.

Made the short run to Ft. Myers on a beautiful, calm day. Only ten miles and a little over an hour. Went and filled up and paid the lowest amount so far, $2.47 per gallon. May it keep falling.

Arrived at beautiful Legacy Harbour Marina right in downtown Ft. Myers. This is a class operation and very well located. Could see spending extended time here. Many live aboards do.
Walked over to the Farmer’s Market about two blocks away and bought some fresh produce. Then came back to the boat and washed off the salt water. Bob and Deb pulled in on Headquarters and nice to have them next door again. We walked to the market around the corner and picked up some dinner and will cook it on Good News tonight. Another beautiful day in sunny, warm Florida.
