Day #106 - Pensacola Beach, FL
November 14th, 2008Went to dinner last night at Hemingway’s on the water with Dan and Biddi from Biddi and the Beast. Beautiful night to sit outside and eat dinner, full moon, warm air, wonderful!
Woke this morning to sunny skies with storms predicted. As you can see from the pictures below, the storm moved around us, we got about ten sprinkles and then a rainbow. We walked out to the end of Palafox Pier. Quite a show from clouds developing, to BLACK skies and then a rainbow.

All of this and we were still underway to another marina in Pensacola Beach, The Beach Marina, which looks to be much more like a boardwalk atmosphere. Short run, beautiful seas on Pensacola Bay. The dolphins gave a great show, but I was still unable to capture a photo. They are just teasing me.
Got off the boat and walked and walked along the boardwalk and found a great restaurant right on the beach.

Had a light lunch and then went and walked and walked the beautiful white sand beach. LOVE this area. 79 and sunny today, couldn’t be better. Supposed to get cooler tomorrow but for today we will enjoy every minute.

The view above from our table at the restaurant!
Came back to the boat, did a little laundry, desk work and maintenance, updating GasCaptain and enjoying the day. Cooking onboard for dinner tonight after eating out so much. Will grill a steak and cook up some of our fresh vegetables. Only thing left to make this a perfect day would be a sunset tonight. Ahhhh, what a day in paradise.
