Day #6 - Mackinac Island, MI

This is the view off the bow of our boat this morning, the fort at Mackinac. Tough to beat. Another beautiful day on our adventure. Will spend the day riding bikes, exploring…
Andy humored me and we took a horse drawn carriage ride around the island in the afternoon. Met and talked to many people in the marina and went to dinner with a group from Ft. Lauderdale that are doing the loop as well. Would like to stay in Mackinac another day but looks like the weather may prohbit us from leaving for a couple of days if we don’t do it tomorrow. So, headed to Harbor Springs in the morning. Looking forward to that too.

Hi ya matties
I’m so envious of your trip. Just remember that so you enjoy every moment. Any one of would switch places if we knew what we were doing that is…we don’t so we’ll have to “sail” vicariously.
