Day #3 - Harrisville, MI
August 4th, 2008
Left Lexington at 6:30 am and watched a beautiful sunrise. We had a few rollers for the first few hours but pushed through and it finally settled down. After that is was a beautiful run all the way to Harrisville, MI. The trip was 10 hours and 95 miles.After arriving and securing the boat, we walked into the local IGA and bought groceries for dinner. Came back, had cocktails on the “lido deck” and cooked dinner. What a wonderful day and the sun was shining and the skies clear all day long. Look forward to heading out to Presque Isle tomorrow
Hope all of our friends and family are well and thank you for your emails and calls even though we are having a tough time receiving either. Hopefully that will improve as we work our way around the state.
